The project I chose to write about for my science portfolio reflection is my science fair project. For my science fair project I did an experiment to see which brand of microwave popcorn popped the most kernels. I had to count the popcorn kernels in each bag before popping. After we popped each bag we had to count the ones that didn’t pop and subtract to get the number that popped. I like this experiment because it was fun and I learned a lot bout how to do a real science experiment.
I learned many things from this project that could help me in everyday life. I learned how to make a graph on the computer and the graph taught me how to show the results of my experiment. I learned how to do an experiment to tell if one brand of something is better than another brand. This could save me money on other kinds of foods. If I ever have a job and I need to display information I would know how to do it the way I displayed my science fair experiment
